The Port Jefferson BID(Business Improvement District) will be operating a valet parking system to make one's visit 'by car' to Port Jefferson a bit easier. 
The valet program will launch this Friday, May 25th at 5pm for the Memorial Day Weekend and run continuously on Friday and Saturday nights starting at 5pm each weekend through labor day!

The valet program will be located in the back of Village Hall at 121 West Broadway in Port Jefferson, thanks to the approval of the Village Board of Trustees. "There is already an established one-way entrance and exit for vehicle flow and room for proper staging" said Mayor Garant , who hopes that this year's program will prove more successful than last year.

The program is starting a full 2 months earlier than last year. This news, coupled with Port Jefferson's new "Parking Ambassadors" walking the East and West of Main street parking lots on Friday and Saturday nights, will be a big positive step forward in parking and mobility in Port Jefferson.

We are encouraging restaurants who are taking reservations to let their diners know that valet parking is an option for only $7.
